ABOUT NANCE & REAVIS PUMP SERVICE

OUR STORY

More than 25 years serving Southwest Missouri

Nance & Reavis Pump Service has been serving local property owners for more than 25 years, through both current and previous ownership. What continues today is a straightforward approach to water well work: understand the property, figure out what is actually happening, explain the options clearly, and handle the job with the same care we would expect at our own home.

Around here, a private well isn’t just another piece of equipment. It supplies the water a home, family, farm, or property depends on every day. That’s why we believe customers deserve more than a quick diagnosis or a sales pitch. They deserve to understand what they have, what needs attention, and what does not.

Straight answers. Professional work. Dependable water.

True Emergency Well Service

Missouri State Licensed | Insured | Technically Trained

Behind the Work

A well problem should be explained, not just repaired

Water well systems can be difficult to understand because so much of what is happening is underground or out of sight. Part of our job is making the system make sense to you.

Carl has completed technical training through Franklin Technology Center covering water well and pump systems. Just as important, the way he approaches a service call starts with listening and asking questions. When appropriate, he’ll even talk through possible causes before a service visit so you have a better idea of what may be happening and how urgent the problem is.

Once we’re on the property, the goal isn’t to sell the biggest repair. It’s to evaluate the system, show you what we find, and explain what makes sense from there.

HOW WE DO BUSINESS

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

Your well isn't something you can inspect yourself. Landowners want to know exactly what's going on underground, and that whoever's doing the work will still be there if something needs fixing.

You understand what you’re paying for

We explain what we found, what we recommend, and why. You shouldn’t have to approve work on your own water system without understanding what you’re buying.

Your property is treated like it matters

We approach the work with personal responsibility. No careless shortcuts and no treating your home like the next stop on a job list. The standard is the same one we would want on our own property.

We recommend what you actually need

Not every problem calls for the most expensive solution. We look at the system, explain what is necessary and what may be optional, and let you make an informed decision without unnecessary pressure.

A Better Way to Estimate

We’d rather give you an educated answer than an easy number

A new water well can’t be accurately understood from a five-minute phone conversation. Property conditions matter. Nearby wells can provide useful information, but nobody can know exactly what is underground before drilling begins.

That’s why new well projects start with information about the property and water needs, followed by a property evaluation. Nance & Reavis then coordinates with McCarthy Drilling so each part of the project can be evaluated before a professional written quote is prepared. Just as important, we explain the variables that can change once drilling begins instead of pretending they don’t exist.

Older Wells Welcome

Not every well comes with a manual

Buy an older rural property and you may inherit a water system nobody can explain. There may be missing records, unfamiliar equipment, repairs from years ago, or components that have been added and changed by several different people.

That doesn’t mean you have to guess.

Nance & Reavis is experienced with older and poorly documented well systems. We work through what is there, identify what is working and what isn’t, and help you understand what should happen next.

What to Expect

From the first call to dependable water

The work may look different from one property to the next, but the way we handle it stays consistent. We learn what’s going on, evaluate the property or system, explain your options, and make sure you know what to expect before the work moves forward.

01

Tell us what’s happening

Whether you’re planning a new well or dealing with a problem in an existing system, start by telling us about the property, your water needs, and what’s happening.

02

We Evaluate the Property or System

For an existing well, we troubleshoot the system and look for the cause of the problem. For new installations, we review the property and project conditions before making recommendations.

03

We Explain the Options

We walk you through what we found, what we recommend, and any variables that could affect the project. You’ll know what is necessary, what may be optional, and what to expect before approving the work.

04

We Complete and Coordinate the Work

Once approved, we handle the repair, replacement, installation, or related well work and coordinate the necessary pieces of the project.

05

We Make Sure You Know What Comes Next

We review the finished work with you, explain important system details and basic care, and provide applicable warranty information. We also stand behind legitimate workmanship concerns after the job is complete.

Local Experience

Built around the wells and properties of Southwest Missouri

Nance & Reavis serves Cassville, Shell Knob, and communities throughout Southwest Missouri, with particular experience helping homeowners and rural property owners who depend on private water systems.

Local experience isn’t just knowing the names of nearby towns. It means understanding the realities of rural properties, older well systems, new construction, lake-area homes, and the fact that losing water can bring an entire household or property to a stop.

LET’S GET TO WORK

Because dependable water shouldn’t come with guesswork

Most people don’t spend much time thinking about their well when it’s working. And that’s exactly how it should be. Our job is to help you understand the system when there’s a problem, make a sound decision about what it needs, and leave you with water you can depend on when the work is finished. No unnecessary confusion. No pressure to buy equipment you don’t need. Just straightforward answers and a water system handled the way we would want ours handled.

Whether you’re planning a new well, dealing with no water, trying to understand an older system, or looking for better water quality, start by telling us what’s going on. We’ll ask the right questions, explain your options, and help you determine the next step.
